- art:
I love
art. Fine art. Pop art. Art nouveau. Commercial art. Abstract art.
Comic art. Animation. I love art. (being an awesome artist just makes
it that much worse) - cartoons:
Cartoons, yeah.
Especially those 8o's cartoons that were basically 30 minute
commercials for all the toys I used to love (Transformers, GI Joe,
Thundercats, Silverhawks, Voltron, Robotech...) All that good stuff.
Animes are pretty good too. Not all of them, just the critically
acclaimed ones. - conan o'brien:
Conan is hands down
the funniest guy in late night TV. My one regret since joining the
ARMY, is that I haven't been able to watch Conan. He was struggling a
little when he lost his sidekick Andy, but he has rebounded with a
vengence. Fuck Leno. - family guy:
Holy shit. Never
thought I would say this. But FUNNIER than the Simpsons. Stewie cracks
me up. We should ALL try to kill our monthers at LEAST once during
infancy. - ft meade:
Yeah, just finished up my AIT
here. Getting ready to come home for a few weeks, then I am off to
Germany. I'll probably be deployed to Iraq wihthin the next year or so,
but the cool thing is that I'm worth a cool $400,000 to whomever is on
my insurance policy (wink, wink) - homestar runner:
VERY
funny website. Started up in Gainesville Florida (if I am not mistaken)
But I have run into MANY people in the ARMY (at least here at FT.
Meade) that all love the site. You should check it out. too.
www.homestarrunner.com - martial arts:
Yeah, I took
some martial arts over the years. martial arts is a good way to develop
physical and mental discipline. Plus it is awesome in the movies. - music:
I
love music. In many, many forms. I can play a little guitar, but I
would love to be as good at guitar as I am at drawing. Maybe one day.
Till then I will be content listening to every genre of music from Dave
Matthews to Trent Reznor. (except country, I hate country) - nudity:
Holy crap. I love nude females. Ummmmm... Yeah. They are great. - simpsons:
Probably
the smartest show on tv, and one of the funniest to boot. Every year
this show is on the air, it gets better and better.

| Just when you think you've got it all sussed out.
Oct. 2nd, 2005 | 06:13 pm
One
of the girls I made friends with over the last couple of weeks here is
currently snuggling on the couch with one of my MARRIED classmates. I
don't understand people. Why do we even go through the bullshit of
committing to one another (as people) if it doesn't mean anything to
us. Why are moral people so hard to come by? And don't tell me to go to
church, cause we all know that is bullshit. Church is just a place
where loose people go to find forgiveness for all the shitty things
they've done. (I realize there are exceptions, but they seem few and
far between) Over the last few years I have TRIED to surround myself
with people that I thought came from good moral stock.I don't mean
people that don't have fun, I mean strong people that value honesty,
and integrity. But it seems that no matter how well I think I know
someone... I don't really know anyone.
All this makes me feel
very alone. Like I am the only one that feels this way. I'm sure many
people will jump up and say "what about me" but the truth is, I'm not
sure anyone measures up anymore. I left town, joined the ARMY, started
a completely new life (scared out of my wits) and the majority of my
BEST FRIENDS used it as an opportunity to write me out of their lives
so they could renew their friendship with the two people that made me
want to leave in the first place. I've been trying to put myself back
together over the last year, and it feels like I am doing it with
missing pieces. But I can't bring it up in conversation, cause that
would be rude. then I am the asshole that just needs to learn to
forgive. Fuck that. How about if people do the right thing, instead of
whatever satisfies their need for comfort?
Man, this isn't even what I wanted to write about today.
I'm so tired of people.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't one.

Full fledged soldier.
I
graduated AIT (advanced individual training) today. So now I am a full
fledged soldier. Not only am I a killing machine, but I am a certified
multimedia illustrator. Pretty wicked. So now that I have cut my teeth
at DINFOS (Defense Information School) It will soon be time for me to
prove myself in Germany. BUT! Before I can do that I need to get my
wisdom teeth pulled! ARRRRGHH. Once they have de-fanged me, I should
have a week or two to visit home for some recruiter work, then it's off
to Heidelberg. Hopefully I will have a little more time to play when I
get home this next time. There were a lot of people I didn't get to
see, and this may well be the last chance I get to come home for a LONG
while. I'll update with more info as it comes my way. James out

| I only got this account, so Buddy up with Melissa, but I don't even think she checks it. hmmph. lol

| I haven't updated...
I've been sad. She has a boyfriend.
It's ok though, I still think she is pretty awesome. Hopefully she will
stay in touch with me when I leave. She DOES love the Internet, so I am
fairly confident that she will make a good "pen pal" at the very least.
In other news, her roommate is also very cool. I think she's pretty damn
funny. She acts all tough all the time, but you can tell she is a
sweetheart. I actually think I have a pretty good chance of staying in
touch with her too. Especially since there isn't any of the awkwardness
of telling a girl that you are really into them before finding out they
are taken.
I just wish the two of them had gotten here MONTHS ago. I have made a
few decent friends here, these two chicks lighten my spirits with their
positive attitudes. It's too bad I'm leaving so soon, cause I am sure
that they will be very popular targets once I leave. I just hope no one
takes advantage of their niceness (is that a word?).
Well it's off to my room now.
